Brighton is full of vibrance and character making it an ideal host to the many different popular musical events that take place.There are known to be 200 venues that programme live music festivals within Brighton, with Brighton City Festival being a great example.It is one of the popular music events hosted in Brighton every year, and this year I went along to it.It took place from the 25th-26th of October and attracted many people to the city selling 6000 tickets in total.I had an amazing time there and there was a great mixture of different DJs with some of the line up including Baby shambles, Bloc party, 2 Many Djs,The streets,The maccabees and Soulwax.The line up were all well known and established DJs, some of whom originally started out in Brighton.Brighton is a great city for young creative people, who are interested in, and have a passion for music,with there being many venues for musicians to play to a diverse range of audiences.

Brighton is a great little city, it's got loads going on. i've travelled down from manchester on a few occasions mainly to attend the numerous music events the city offers. i went to brighton city festival and had a great time, to have so many dj's across a number of clubs all in one night is a really neat idea.
